Introduction to Project Structure

We touched on project structure in the Scoping portion of the playbook, but only on a surface level.

We follow something called the 4 D's of project management, slightly adapted for our specific use cases.

The 4 D's of outsourcing projects

  • Discover
  • Design
  • Develop
  • Deploy

Following these 4 phases in our project structure has helped us avoid many common pitfalls of software development, including scope creep, timeline creep, and production disruption.

From this point on, the playbook will become more and more technical. If you are non-technical and have followed up to this point, you're doing great. We will do our best to discuss these technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner—as always, if you have questions feel free to use our live chat or email [email protected]!
